Call to Worship

Lord, who are we that you should give yourself to us? Trusting in your great mercy, Lord, we come as one sick to the healer, as a beggar to the King of heaven, as a servant to the master, as a created being to the Creator.  Trusting in your great mercy, Lord, we come to receive your touch. In this time of worship grant to us your kindness, your mercy, your grace

Hymn                        Praise Ye the Lord, the Almighty

Prayer of Confession (silent, corporate)

Lord as we gather in this place of worship reassure us that we are more than the sum of our successes and failures. Remind us once again just who we are, because we need to know. Remind us when we can’t feel a thing, we are loved by you. Remind us when we are weak and afraid, we are strong in you. Remind us that our sins and failure are not fatal. Remind us that we are redeemed, forgiven, and held in your everlasting arms. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen
